A walk in the woods

I spotted this little fellow as I was out and about in the forest in deepest Bavaria the other week. All on his lonesome. Isn't he a beauty?
You know, I was thinking that sometimes we worry about things not working out the way we would like. Perhaps we are wrestling with a tough problem we feel we need to solve and can't find a way around it. Doing something totally unrelated to the job in hand can help to free the mind.
A quiet walk, far from the hustle and bustle of our busy lives, can do wonders to calm the soul. It helps put things into perspective. Gives us a view of the bigger picture. And then we can look at things from a totally different angle.
We may not find all the answers to our questions, but reconnecting in some way with nature allows us time to think, to switch off for a while, to recharge our batteries and just be ourselves for a few delightful moments.
