I don't often make a habit of peeking through keyholes, do you? But this keyhole belonging to the Church of St. Pantaleon in the Provence offered a surprising revelation. Faced with a locked door, I happened to look through the keyhole at the exact same moment that the sun blazed through the stained glass window, bathing the interior of the church in a velvety purple-violet light.
